Four(!!!) Gigs

It’s been a busy past two months for me, but I think things are finally settling down. As a brief summary, here’s a list of the things that have kept me active: (1) I traveled out of the country for the first time (2) I took on more responsibility at work (3) I relaxed on the beach and enjoyed the last of the summer’s heat (4) I photographed four events! Booking four gigs in a short time span is not the norm for me, but they were all great learning experiences. I was faced with some tough decisions at different times where I had to make subtle adjustments. I also invested in some new lighting gear that I was able to try out for the first time. Looking back at these albums, I love some of photos I was able to capture. Now that I’ve gotten more comfortable with my new gear, I think I can work on being more creative with my posing. What’s next for me? Editing photos from my Philippines trip (two months later…)

Ashley's Graduation from the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing!

My girlfriend, Ashley, graduated with a bachelor of science in nursing from Loyola! She’s taking the NCLEX soon, and I know she’s going to do great. Soon she’ll be done studying and working at a hospital near you! We took these photos last month, before her graduation ceremony. We took advantage of the blooming flowers at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. Ashley has accomplished a lot in the past few years and all the hard work is paying off. Proud of you!
