My first time traveling to California was a major success! I took a whole week off from work and was able to visit and see some amazing things. My girlfriend and her family let me join in on their family getaway, and I’m incredibly grateful they let me come with. Here’s a small snippet of the fun things we did and saw:
· Swam in the Pacific Ocean where I literally swept my girlfriend off her feet
· Ate some incredible food, such as Korean fusion tacos from the revolutionary food truck, Kogi (Also…shoutout to Love Coffee Bar for their incredible Honey Lavender Latte and Scott’s Cubano drink)
· Watched a Dodgers game where I coincidentally ran into one of my best friends from Illinois
· “Hiked” to the Hollywood sign and then walked through Hollywood Blvd
· Visited the beautiful Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks
· Zoomed through Venice Beach and Santa Monica on motorized rental scooters.
It was a long trip, but I wish it hadn’t ended. I can’t wait to make my way back to California to see more of what it has to offer.
