Two posts in one week?! Especially after a long layoff? Well lucky for you, I took some fun pictures that I couldn’t wait to show off. This past weekend, my friend, Vishesh, hosted a Holi party. Holi is a Hindu festival, popularly known as the Indian “festival of spring”, the “festival of colors”, or the “festival of love”. Colored powder is thrown at friends, family, and nearby strangers, resulting in rich, vibrant clothes and skin. I had some photos in mind that I wanted to capture, so I brought my camera and lighting equipment. I experimented with some gels on my flashes, and the results speak for themselves. I am super happy with how the photos came out. I only wish I could’ve taken more. Next year!
